FICA a client in 5 minutes

Compliant onboarding, without the back-and-forth.

schedule 4 min read

FICA used to mean a flurry of WhatsApp messages, email attachments, and a folder full of expired proofs. Here's how to onboard a client in 5 minutes, and stay audit-ready forever.

  1. 1

    Open the contact in RealtyPA

Go to Contacts → search for the client → open their record. If they're a new contact, create them first (name + phone is enough to start).

  2. 2

    Create the FICA link

On the contact record, tap the FICA tile. Pick the document set (default: ID + proof of address + proof of bank), then create the secure upload link.

  3. 3

    Share the link

Copy the secure link into your own email or WhatsApp app. It opens a mobile-friendly upload page where the client can photograph and submit the required documents.

  4. 4

    RealtyPA validates automatically

ID number checks, address proof age check, bank account format check, all run automatically. You'll be notified if anything looks off.

  5. 5

    You verify and file

The contact record updates with all FICA proofs, an audit log of when each was uploaded and verified. Done.
